Because the whole chillies are inside the bottle, you simply refill it with extra virgin olive oil (or any other vegetable oil of your choice), and after 1-2 weeks the chillies have infused it with their tasty magic again.... And again... And...
The last bottle we had, that my dad refilled many, many times over, lasted 12 years before he dropped it (oil on the outside, rushing to make dinner, slip... smash. Gone). But it was still packing a punch at 12 years old. That is the only measure I have, for how long your bottle might last. Yours might last longer. This is a new recipe with more chillies in.
